These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by Kilnlake Gundogs. By booking, attending, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

Kilnlake Gundogs provides gundog training services, which may include (but are not limited to) group classes, private lessons, workshops, training days, and residential or non‑residential training. Services are provided at locations determined by Kilnlake Gundogs and may vary depending on weather, ground conditions, and dog suitability.

Kilnlake Gundogs reserves the right to refuse or terminate training for any dog or handler where safety, welfare, or suitability is a concern.

2. Bookings and Payments

All bookings must be made in advance.
Payment is required in full to secure a booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Prices are as advertised at the time of booking and may be subject to change.
Kilnlake Gundogs reserves the right to correct pricing errors at any time.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations by the client must be made with reasonable notice.
Refunds or credits are issued at the discretion of Kilnlake Gundogs and may depend on notice given and whether the space can be filled.
Kilnlake Gundogs reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to adverse weather, ground conditions, illness, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, clients will be offered a rescheduled session or credit.

4. Dog Health, Welfare, and Behaviour

All dogs attending training must be in good health and fit for training.
Dogs must be fully vaccinated (or titre tested where applicable) and free from contagious diseases.
Bitches in season must not attend group sessions unless expressly agreed in advance.
Clients must disclose any history of aggression, anxiety, or behavioural issues prior to training.

Kilnlake Gundogs prioritises dog welfare at all times and uses fair, ethical, and humane training methods.

5. Handler Responsibilities

Dogs must remain under control at all times.
Clients are responsible for the behaviour and actions of their dogs during training.
Handlers must follow instructions given by Kilnlake Gundogs for safety and effectiveness.
Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn for outdoor training.

6. Liability

Training with dogs involves inherent risks. Participation is entirely at the client’s own risk.
Kilnlake Gundogs accepts no liability for injury, loss, damage, or death to dogs, handlers, third parties, or property, except where caused by proven negligence.
Kilnlake Gundogs is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

7. Insurance

Kilnlake Gundogs holds appropriate public liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

8. Use of Images and Media

Kilnlake Gundogs may take photographs or videos during training sessions for promotional or educational purposes. If you do not wish for images of you or your dog to be used, you must notify Kilnlake Gundogs in writing prior to training. Photographs taken by clients are not be posted on social media platforms without prior written consent from Kilnlake Gundogs.

9. Training Results

While Kilnlake Gundogs endeavours to provide high‑quality training, no guarantee is given regarding specific results or outcomes. Progress depends on multiple factors including consistency, handling, environment, and the dog’s temperament and ability.

10. Residential or Day Training (if applicable)

Dogs left in the care of Kilnlake Gundogs must arrive with up‑to‑date health information, emergency contact details, and any required equipment or food.
Kilnlake Gundogs will take all reasonable care but accepts no responsibility for illness, injury, or loss except where caused by negligence.
Veterinary treatment may be sought in an emergency, with costs payable by the owner.

11. Data Protection

Personal information provided by clients is used solely for business purposes and handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

12. Amendments

Kilnlake Gundogs reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will apply at the time of booking.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By booking or attending training with Kilnlake Gundogs, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
